Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing elective neurosurgery in lateral position

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient refusal 2.Difficult airway -mouth opening less than 3 fingers -Modified mallampati grade of III and IV -Receding chin 3.Obesity (BMI >30) 4.History of Bronchial asthma 5.Pregnant women

To assess the incidence of respiratory complications including the incidence and duration of desaturation, number of intubation attempts required and airway injury in immediate postoperative period.
