Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult age more than 18 years female with singelton pregnancy and a gestational age >37 weeks, Planned for an elective caesarean delivery under spinal anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal of giving consent,Patient with istory of trauma/previous spinal surgery, Patients with significant anatomical spinal abnormalities, BMI >35, Patient with allery to ultrasound gel

To compare number of succesful first attempt of spinal needle placement, patient comfort, total number of attempts, needle bone contacts in both sitting positionTimepoint: 15 mins prior to spinal needle placement -(baseline) Baseline- during spinal needle placement.
