Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant female > 18 years. 2. Jaundice (i.e. S. Bilirubin > 2 mg/dl) 3. Positive viral markers for HEV (IgM and/or IgG)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Jaundice of causes other than AVH (cholestatic jaundice, drug induced jaundice and HELLP syndrome etc.) 2. Positive for HAV, HBV, HCV, HIV
