Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with histologically proven OSCC requiring Surgical Intervention for management of OSCC with Tracheal Intubation And Pharyngeal Packing. Patient fit for surgery (ASA I or II) Patient with adequate mouth opening (Malampatti Grade I â?? II )

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with anticipated difficult airway (Malampatti Grade III â?? IV) Patients undergoing Tracheostomy Patients on steroidal therapy Patients requiring more than 3 attempts of intubation Patients diagnosed with Base of Tongue, Parapharyngeal tumours
