Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Already diagnosed as diabetes mellitus and on Tab. Metformin for >=1 year to 2) Any one of three- HbA1c- 6.5% to 8.5% , FBS- 126-200mg/dl, PPBS- 200-280mg/dl 3) Patient fit for Vaman Karma and Virechan Karma. 4) Those who are willing to give written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Known case of Diabetes Mellitus =5 year to. 2) Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus or those who are under insulin therapy. 3) Patient with chronic diabetic complications like nephropathy, neuropathy and retinopathy. 4) Patient with severe systemic diseases like HIV, Cancer, Hepatitis etc. 5) Pregnant and lactating Women. 6) Unfit for Vaman and Virechan Karma.
