Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pediatric dentists should provide awareness to the Paediatrician about the potential risk of iron supplements causing discoloration of teeth. Referral to a pediatric dentist so that precautionary and preventive measures can be done to minimize the staining on teeth due to iron supplements. Parents of children who have been prescribed iron supplements and noticed discolored teeth should be advised to visit a pediatric dentist to identify the etiology and accordingly consider the need for professional tooth cleaning, selective polishing using a prophylactic paste, biannual GC Equia® forte coat application, or a combination of all above treatments.Timepoint: Evaluation of staining capability using digital Spectrophotometer on 30th and 90th day
