Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All primigravida with ASA II Undergoing spinal anaesthesia for elective caesarean section

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not giving consent. All pcatients who are haemodynamically unstable or in labour. Patients having previous exposure to spinal anaesthesia for any surgery. Any contraindication to spinal anaesthesia. Two or more attempt for spinal injection.

MeasureTime frame
To compare pain and ease of spinal needle insertion with short blocker device versus vapocoolant spray via visual analoge scale.Timepoint: 5 minutes after checking effect of spinal anaesthesia.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare patient satisfaction with short blocker device versus vapocoolant spray via likert scale.Timepoint: 30 minutes after giving spinal anaesthesia.
