Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Pregnant woman with gestational age more than 32 weeks 2) Decided for delivery by caesarean section mode

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Pregnancy gestational age less than 32 weeks 2) Multiple pregnancy 3) Features of placental abruption, placenta previa, uterine rupture 4) Signs of severe fetal distress according to attending clinician 5) Known or grossly evident major cardiac respiratory or neurological congenital malformations that interfere with physiological cord clamping practice 6) Intrauterine deaths 7) Rh- incompatibility

1) The pattern and trend of preductal oxygen saturation and heart rate in newborns delivered by caesarean section following physiological cord clamping practice during initial 15 minutes after birth 2) The clinical outcomes ( mortality, morbidities) during hospital stay in newborns with physiological cord clamping 3) The amount of total blood loss for mother during surgery and during first 48 hours and hospital outcomes 4) The operational aspects of conducting physiological cord clamping in caesarean sectionTimepoint: 1. Until 15 minutes after delivery 2. Hospital outcome at discharge
