Intervention1: Glossopharyngeal nerve block: Videolaryngoscope guided intraoral bilateral glossopharyngeal nerve block will be given with 2 ml of 2% lignocaine on each side after intubation. Control

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA PS I and ASA PS II Patient scheduled for elective TORS

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal of consent Allergy to any of drugs used Age 65 years Patient on beta-blockers

To compare the difference in the proportion of patients with a rise in MAP20% from baseline during placement (initiation of placement till 10 minutes after placement) of mouth retractorsTimepoint: After induction of anaesthesia as baseline then every minute for 10 min after application of retractor then every 10 minute till end of surgery.

MeasureTime frame
To compare the number and doses of rescue boluses of Fentanyl and esmolol required to attenuate the stress responseTimepoint: After induction of anaesthesia as baseline then every minute for 10 min after application of retractor then every 10 minute till end of surgery.
