Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group A 1 Individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia spectrum disorders [F20 â?? F29] based on ICD-10 DCR. 2 Individuals with duration of illness less than 1 year. 3 Individuals fluent in reading/understanding Assamese and can comprehend task instructions. 4 Individuals having normal or corrected to normal vision. Group B 1 Individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia based on ICD-10 DCR. 2 Individuals with duration of illness more than 2 year. 3 Individuals fluent in reading/understanding Assamese and can comprehend task instructions. 4 Individuals having normal or corrected to normal vision. 5 Matched on gender with group A. Group C [healthy and matched controls] 1 Score of less than 10 on Kessler 10. 2 Fluent in reading or understanding Assamese. 3 Individuals who can comprehend task instructions. 4 Matched on gender with group A.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Group A and B 1 Individuals who received ECT in past 6 months. 2 Individuals with history of developmental delay. 3 Individuals with history of substance dependence except tobacco dependence. 4 Individuals with comorbid neurological conditions as per the case report file. 5 Individuals not taking benzodiazepines presently. 6 Individuals with history of substance dependence except tobacco dependence. Group C 1 Individuals with comorbid psychiatric and neurological disorders. 2 Individuals with history of psychiatric illness in family. 3 Individuals with history of neurological illness in family. 4 Individuals with history of substance dependence except tobacco dependence. 5 Individuals with history of developmental delay
