Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA grades 1 and 2 Age group 40 to 65 years Elective surgery Body mass index
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: ASA 3 and above Known allergy to tranexamic acid History/evidence of coagulopathy and bleeding disorder Renal dysfunction Current use of antiplatelet medication and antioagulants Thromboembolic events 1 yr prior to surgery Patients requiring general anaesthesia Not satisfying inclusion criteria Patient unwilling to give consent Redo surgeries
