Health Condition 1: K053- Chronic periodontitis

Interventions

Intervention1: Adjunctive probiotic therapy: In addition to the procedures undertaken for the control group the test group will recieve adjunctive probiotic therapy - sachet containing L.rhamnosus one

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (a) subjects with age more than 18 (b) systemically healthy subjects (c) Presence of at least 2 teeth with PPD >= 5 mm in each quadrant

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) subjects with habit of smoking and tobacco chewing 3) subjects taking Medications affecting the periodontium 4) pregnancy or lactation 5) subjects who received probiotic or antimicrobial therapy in the past 6 months 6) subjects underwent periodontal therapy in the past 6 months
