Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients (18-65 years) Patients of either gender Critically ill septic patients
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with leukemia History of haemolytic anaemia or recent blood transfusion History of coagulation disorders

| 1)To compare the haematological (Hb, TLC, ESR) and biochemical (Na,K,Cl, LDH, SGOT ,SGPT and Creatinine) laboratory parameters in blood samples delivered by pneumatic transportation system compared with samples delivered by hand obtained from patients diagnosed with sepsis. 2)To validate the existing system installed in our institute by measuring similar parameters of non septic patients scheduled for elective surgeries which are sent via the pneumatic tubing system and simultaneously by the manual courier.
