Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who will be ventilated for more than 24 hrs post-operatively

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnancy 2.Presence of thoracostomy, pneumothorax, or pneumomediastinum 3.Presence of flail chest or rib fractures 4.Neuromuscular disease 5.History or new detection of paralysis or paradoxical movement of a single hemidiaphragm on diaphragmatic ultrasonography 6.Morbid obesity
