Intervention1: Dexmedetomidine: Dexmedetomidine administration before intubation at 1ug/kg over 10 mins and then on maintainable dose at 0.2-0.7ug/kg/hr via iv route. Maintainance dose stopped 10 min

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients ASA class 1 and 2 2. Age >18 and 3. patient should receive dexmedetomidine (0.3-0.5 mcg /kg/ hr)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal to give consent. 2. Patient ASA class 3 and 4. 3. Age 60 yrs. 4. Patients with preoperative heart rate 5. Presence of any heart block of any degree. 6. Any known allergy to dexmedetomidine or other alpha agonists.

: Comparative evaluation of the estimated Cerebral perfusion pressure (eCPP) from baseline to after loading dose of dexmedtomidine, after intubation and at the end of procedure.Timepoint: at baseline ,after loading dose of dexmedtomidine, after intubation and at the end of procedure.

Evaluation of Mean flow velocity (mFV) ,Pulsatility index (PI), Cerebral vascular resistant index (CVRi) and dynamic cererbral autoregulation from baseline to after loading dose of dexmedetomidine, after intubation and at the end of procedure.Timepoint: At the baseline , after administration of loading dose of dexmedetomidine, after intubation and at the end of procedure.
