Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Alopecia areata patients >= 18 years • Alopecia areata patients who have not received any other systemic or topical treatment for the disease in the past 1 month.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Pregnant or lactating females 2) Patients with history of or existing scalp skin diseases, infections 3) Severe systemic illness (as uncontrolled DM or hypertension, liver or renal diseases) 4) Immune-compromised patients • History of keloids or hypertrophic scars
