Inclusion criteria: Patients having symptoms and signs of sepsis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal of consent Patients already on antibiotics and immunosuppressants Patients of acute coronary syndrome, acute stroke and acute pancreatitis If patients stopped treatment voluntarily Pregnant and breastfeeding females

To determine prognostic value of APACHE II score, SOFA score and biomarkers in patients of sepsis and septic shock.Timepoint: within 24 hours of ICU admission, calculation of APACHE II,SOFA score, and sample collection for biomarkers.—
