Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Opioid naïve patients in cancer with moderate pain intensity. (4-6 on NRS) 2. Age > 18 years. 3. Absence of any cognitive impairment or psychiatric illness. 4. Estimated survival of > 3 months. 5. Patients well verse and comfortable with English/Marathi/ Hindi language only

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any contraindication to opioid use. 2. Severe organic dysfunction like kidney or respiratory failure. 3. Inability to take oral medications. 4. Uncontrolled diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, sub ileus or intestinal obstruction.
