Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients fulfilling the criteria of Amercian society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status I, II or III of either gender aged between 18 to 60yrs, undergoing elctive surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with anticipated difficult airway as per the following predictors: (i)Mouth opening (ii)Obesity with BMI >30kg/m2. (iii)Neck circumference >40cm. (iv)Thyromental distance 2) Patients with cervical spine injury. 3) Pregnant patients. 4) Patients with any other obvious pathology around the mouth or neck.
