Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA GRADE 1,2,3. 2.AGE:18 TO 70 YRS. 3.PATIENTS OF EITHER SEX. 4.PATIENTS UNDERGOING ELECTIVE THORACIC SURGERIES.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.REFUSAL OF PATIENT. 2.ANTICIPATED DIFFICULT AIRWAY. 3.PATIENTS WITH PREVIOUS TRACHEOSTOMY OR PATHOLOGY CAUSING NARROWING OR DEVIATION OF TRACHEA MAKING PLACEMENT OF DLT DIFFICULT. 4.PATIENTS WITH PLEURAL EFFUSION,EMPYEMA,OTHER PLEURAL BASED DISEASE OR PAST HISTORY OF PLEURODESIS ETC.
