Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I and II MPS grade I and II Patients undergoing various elective surgeries under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. BMI >30 kg /m2. 2. Allergies to lignocaine/dexmedetomidine. 3. Patients with heart block. 4. Patients with bradycardia (HR 5. Hypotension (BP 6. Patient with any cardiac disease. 7. Patient with a difficult airway. 8. Patient refusing consent. 9. Patient on beta blockers.
