Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1)American society of anaesthesiologist physical status I/II/III. 2)Age 18 to 65years 3)BMI of 35kg/m2 or less
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) History of previous spinal surgery. 2) Infection at puncture site. 3) Coagulopathy. 4) Pre-existing neurological deficit. 5) Allergy to local anesthetics or any other contraindication to neuraxial blocks. 6) Patients having cardiac/renal diseases.

| To compare the number of spinal needle insertion attempts in patients receiving spinal anaesthesia using ultrasound guided median and paramedian approach with landmark guided median approach in adult patients undergoing elective surgery.Timepoint: At the time of giving anaesthesia i.e. at zero minutes ,we compare number of times the spinal needle was withdrawn from the skin and reinserted in different approaches i.e. ultrasound guided paramedian approach with ultrasound guided median approach with landmark guided median approach of spinal anaesthesia in adult undergoing the elective surgery | — |
