Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants (1) aged 18â??65 years, (2) with a BMI >â??23.0 -

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants who are (1) severely obese, (2) already engaged in fasting practices (within 3 months of start date), (3) already on diet/physical activity interventions, (4) suffering from an eating disorder â?? will be assessed using the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q 6.0) (5) suffering from any other metabolic disorder or having an ongoing medical condition or treatment, (6) Females in peri- or menopausal stage, (7) pregnant or breastfeeding females (8) cannot consume test meals due to intolerances/dietary preferences (i.e. vegan, gluten, milk proteins), (9) having other chronic comorbid conditions (10) unwilling or unable to adhere to the requirements of the dietary intervention will be excluded from the study.
