Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with oral cancer and will opt for adjuvant radiotherapy Age range 30 to 80 Native speakers of Kannada

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with secondary tumours Patients with psychological, neurological, and hearing impairments Patients with recurrence of oral cancer Patientâ??s on Ryleâ??s tube Patients who are not able to achieve lip seal

Nasalance for oral sentences (3), nasal sentences (3) and oral + nasal sentences (3) in Kannada â??Oral pressure(cmH2O)â??, â??flow (mL/s)â??and â??resistance(cmH2O/mL/s)â?? for a vowel obtained from /pa/ syllable repetition Timepoint: The data collection will be done two times Prior to treatment where nasalance and aerodynamic data will be obtained (one day before the surgery) Post treatment where again nasalance and aerodynamic data will be obtained(after 4 weeks of resting after completion of radiotherapy sessions)
