Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age- 25- 45 years Participants without any acute or chronic illnesses Participants without any known history of acute or chronic Anaemia, uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus Those who are not doing exercises like gym, running, and swimming, likewise have not performed the same in the last 6 months Those who have not suffered from viral chest infections in last six months. Participants who are ready to give a written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients suffering from hypertension Any acute or chronic respiratory illnesses, Tuberculosis, Cancer, Cardiac Disorders Individuals underwent major abdominal surgery Individuals with known co-morbidities- PCOS, thyroid, pregnancy, etc. Smokers The participants practicing Yoga and other breathing exercises

MeasureTime frame
To assess the effect of Kapalabhati Kriya on the total antioxidant status of healthy individuals. To evaluate the efficacy of classical Kapalabhati Kriya on pulmonary functions of healthy individuals. Timepoint: At the baseline (T0), after 40 days of control period (T1), after 40 days of intervention (T2), after 40 days of detraining period of 40 days (T3)

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the efficacy of classical Kapalabhati Kriya on the Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) of healthy individuals. To assess the detraining effect of Kapalabhati Kriya, 3 rounds, each constituting of 120 strokes, on the total antioxidant status and pulmonary functions of healthy individuals. Timepoint: At the baseline (T0), after 40 days of control period (T1), after 40 days of intervention (T2), after 40 days of detraining period of 40 days (T3)
