Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patient with 2 years follow up will be included. 2 All patients presenting with upper lumbar disc herniation on MRI and low back pain and/or radiculopathy. 3 Age: 20 years and above.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patient not fulfilling inclusion criteria 2 Patient not willing to participate in the study 3 Presence of associated pathology such as infection, or malignancy 4 History of Upper lumbar spine surgery (1st three disc space below the conus medullaris).

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Retrospective data of all the patients who underwent spine surgery for upper lumbar disc herniation will be assessed.Timepoint: 1 year

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
statistical and accessory non-invasive information which will be collected as found additionally of importance. Timepoint: 1 year
