Intervention1: PERCUTANEOUS TRACHEOSTOMY BY NOVEL TECHNIQUE: THE ENDOTRACHEALTUBE WILL BE ADVANCED AT THE LEVEL OF CARINA AND FIBEROPTIC BRONCHOSCOPE WILL BE PASSED ALONGSIDE TUBE INSTED OF INSIDE IT.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All adult patient posted for tracheostomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria will be a) patient refusal, b) emergency tracheostomy and c) morbid obesity (BMI > 35Kg/m2).

| Episode of desaturation.(SpO292% for 1 minute.) 2. Duration of procedure T1- Time of Bronchoscope insertion to Bronchoscope removal T2-Time of needle puncture to tracheostomy tube insertion 3. Number of needle puncture required 4. First attempt success rate 5. Complications- bleeding Timepoint: Episode of desaturation as defined will be noted during procedure. The two time periods T1 and T2 has been defined Complications such as bleeding will be done at the time of bronchoscopy confirmation of tube in trachea. | — |
