Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To determine the relationship between a given Hb level below 10.9 g/dl and change in pH from the normal range i.e delta pH on a venous blood gas analysis.Timepoint: Outcome will be assessed co-relating the baseline value of Hb (less than 10.9g/dl) and ABG only. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To determine the relationship between a given Hb level below 10.9 g/dl and change in HCO3, base excess and lactate level from the normal range i.e delta HCO3, delta base excess and delta lactate levels on a venous blood gas analysis.Timepoint: Outcome will be assessed co-relating the baseline value of Hb (less than 10.9g/dl) and ABG only. | — |
