Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male and female subjects aged between 25 to 45 years. 2. Clinical diagnosis of generalised chronic periodontitis 3. Characterised by the presence of >1 periodontal site with a probing pocket depth of >= 5mm showing bleeding upon probing.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients history of allergic to herbal medications. 2. Subjects on any medication taken within the last 6 months which may alter the periodontal status. 3. Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment within a period of one year.
