Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: person must be living in the community for more than one year and must be 18 years old and willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participant must not be physically and mentally challenged.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
the primary outcome of the study would be to explore the prevalence of open defecation and hygiene practices of the community living in Risia block, Behraich district as well as to understand their attitude and knowledge for the sameTimepoint: This shall be achieved till 30th April 2022.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome of the study will be to analyse the reasons for open defecation and poor hand hygiene and water along with gaps present in the knowledge of the community and make recommendations based on the study findings to improve the attitude of the community for the same.Timepoint: this shall be achieved after 6 weeks post data collection.
