Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with locally advanced or metastatic cervical cancer planned for disease modifying treatment with palliative intent or are planned for best supportive care. 2. Newly referred to Department of Palliative Medicine (outpatients and inpatients) 3. Age above 18 years and willing to participate 4. Able to communicate in English/Hindi/Marathi 5. Able to give written informed consent for face to face or telephonic contact for questionnaire administration. Patients with locally advanced or metastatic cervical cancer planned supportive care alone. 2. Newly referred to Department of Palliative Medicine (outpatients and inpatients) 3. Age above 18 years and willing to participate 4. Able to communicate in English/Hindi/Marathi 5. Able to give written informed consent for face to face or telephonic contact for questionnaire administration.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Unstable medical/psychiatric condition requiring emergency treatment. 2. Any form of intellectual disability or cognitive impairment.. 3. Patients presenting with acute symptoms requiring immediate medical attention.

1.To examine change in Quality-of-Life domains at baseline and 14th day -by measuring score on EORTC QLQ C30 and EORTC QLQ Cx24 for QOL. 2.To correlate symptom profile and quality of life by the correlation between symptom scores on ESASr and EORTC QLQ C30 and Cx24 3.
