Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Parents of under-five children living in selected urban slum areas. 2) Parents who can understand, read, and write Marathi, Hindi, and English.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Parents working in the healthcare sector may be expected to understand optimal child nutrition practices better.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The study will assess the knowledge and practice level score of parents regarding the prevention of undernutrition.Timepoint: The primary outcome will be achieved in June.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The study will reveal the knowledge and practice-related factors that play a major role in the nutrition of children.Timepoint: The secondary outcome will be achieved in the final week of June.
