Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Females of age between 40-55 years irrespective of religion, occupation and chronicity. Amenorrhea for > 12 months Modified Kupperman menopausal index score > 7 Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) > 20 IU/ L Thickness of endometrium is Patients who are willing to give written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Surgical menopause Tuberculosis Malignancies Diabetes mellitus Established cases of mental illness, rheumatoid arthritis, coronary artery disease, hepatic disorders etc. Patients who are not willing to give written consent.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
After the first follow up on the basis of Menopause rating scale we would be able to demonstrate the positive outcome of rasayana in the management of menopausal syndrome. Timepoint: 12 Months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
It is expected that at the end of the study rasayana would be beneficial in menopausal syndrome on the basis of Menopausal rating scale.Timepoint: 12 months
