Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Simple or developmental myopic school going children. Children with best corrected visual acuity achieved by refractive error between â??0.50 dioptre (â?? 0.50 D) and â??5 dioptre (â?? 5 D) for at least one eye

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Congenital myopia 2 Simple myopia associated with systemic disease or other ocular pathologies. 3 Children with refractive error greater then â??5 dioptre (â?? 5 D) 4 Pathological or degenerative myopia, Pseudo myopia, Induced Myopia, Nocturnal Myopia 6 Refractive errors like Hypermetropia, Astigmatism and all other ocular pathologies. 7 History of ocular trauma or ocular surgery

Study anatomical changes in simple developmental myopia of school going children and its association with their Sharir Prakriti may be establishedTimepoint: 12 Weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in anatomical parameters in Myopia will be studied in detail. Study will enlighten us regarding association of Sharir Prakriti with simple developmental myopia in school going children. Dietary and lifestyle modifications can be planned for myopic children based on the basic principles of Ayurveda.Timepoint: 3 Weeks
