Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Paediatric patients with moderate/high likelihood of developing dental caries 2. Parents in volitional stage of intention to improve oral health related behaviours for their childs oral health at the time of enrolment 3. Patients with inadequate sweet score greater than 10

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with systemic medical conditions/special healthcare needs 2. Patients with missing or congenitally malformed permanent teeth. 3. Patients undergoing orthodontic treatment

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.Self reported changes in target oral health related behaviours by parent-child. 2.Change in plaque scoes using Plaque Score Index. 3.Change in number of plauqe stagnation areas.Timepoint: During the time of intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Appearance of any new carious lesions on a sound surface. 2. Appearance of any new carious lesion on restored surface. 3. Appearance of new carious lesion associated with any other etiology like- traumatic injury/ developmental defectsTimepoint: 2 weeks 8 weeks 3 months
