Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled to undergo elective surgery under general anaesthesia or regional anaesthesia in the department of General surgery at IGMC Shimla

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. inability to complete the questionnaire 3. Discharge before 24 hours post op 4. Seriously ill patients or patients under the influence of drugs 5. patients unable to communicate 6. patients undergoing emergency surgeries
