Conditions

Health Condition 1: O- Medical and Surgical

Interventions

Intervention1: Group M: Patient will receive a fresh gas flow(FGF) rate of 1L/min after induction of anaesthesia. Once 1 MAC achieved the flow will be converted to metabolic flow based on patients req

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare preoperative and postoperative FVC(forced vital capacity) using portable spirometry after achieving modified aldrete score of 9 in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery under general anaesthesia with metabolic and low flowTimepoint: FVC will be calculated in preoperative period(t1), postoperative period after acheiving aldrete score of 9(t2), 1hr and 2hr after post-t2.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare changes in other parameters of PFT using portable spirometry To compare the changes in arterial blood gas(ABG) parameters To compare diaphragmatic excursion using ultrasonography To compare intraoperative Ventilatory parametersTimepoint: Upto 2 hrs postoperative
