Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant Patient - Primigravida and Secondgravida patients with gestational age greater than37weeks who needs induction of labour.2.Patient with vertex presentation 3.Patient with adequate pelvis for normal vaginal delivery3. Patient with normal USG(OBST)with normal Biophysical Profile withj normal colour Doppler study with reactive NST

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy with Gestational age less than 37 weeks 2.Cephalo pelvic disproportion and contracted pelvis 3.Previous uterine and vaginal surgeries 4.Antepartum hemorrhage- Abruptio placenta and Placenta previa 5.Mal presentation 6. High-risk pregnancies with severely compromised fetus 7. Pregnancy with obstrtric or medical complication 8. Pre-mature rupture of membrane 9. Active genital herpes infection 10. Foetal distress 11. Pregnancies complicated with Diabetis Melitus, Asthma, Tubrerculosis, Jaundice, Eclampsia, Heart diseasea, Epilepsy, Ascitis, Generalised oedema, Severe anaemia( Hb less than 7) 12.Patient with STDs 13. Pregnancy with malignancy 14.Pregnancy with uterine fibroid.
