Interventions

Intervention1: Dexmedetomidine and Bupivacaine in spinal anesthesia: Dexmedetomidine group will receive 3ml (15mg) of 0.5% hyperbaric bupivacaine with 5 mcg dexmedetomidine in 0.5 ml NS inthrathecally

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.American society of anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade I & II. 2. Patients scheduled to undergo lower abdominal and lower limb surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.ASA grade 3 & 4. 2.Patients with known contraindications for spinal anesthesia. 3.Patients with coagulation disorders or on anticoagulant therapy. 4.Patients with allergy to study drugs.
