Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I & II Patients undergoing Upper limb surgeries.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with neurological and neuromuscular disorders, Brachial plexus injury Sensitive or allergic to study medication Clotting disorder, Local infection Pregnancy, Patient refusal, Basal heart rate less than 60bpm.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Time of onset of sensory and motor block, Duration of sensory and motor blockTimepoint: Onset of sensory and motor block evaluated every 5 minutes, Duration of sensory and motor block evaluated every hour.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturationTimepoint: Vitals (HR, BP, SpO2) will be recorded before the block and every 5 min after the block for 1st 30 mins and thereafter every 15mins till the end of surgery. Post-operative vitals will be noted at 10 mins, 30 mins & 1,2,4,6,12hrs after the end of surgery.
