Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Control and Diabetic subjects with or without diabetic complications (neuropathy, nephropathy, atherosclerosis) willing to provide blood will be included in the study. For conducting our study, the blood samples of the participants will be collected as provided by the clinical collaborator from Department of Medicine, Kasturba Hospital, Manipal

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with communicable diseases will be excluded from the study

MeasureTime frame
a new diagnostic tool of glycoalbumin measuremnt will be developedTimepoint: This is an observational study where the blood sample will be drawn from a patient (both, diabetic and non-diabetic) only once in the study. The respective parameters measured will be correlated with the patients clinical condition at the time of blood withdrawal.
