Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Trial Group- Pre-diagnosed subjects of Madhumeha; Type 2 DM (on oral hypoglycemics but not on Insulin therapy) of either gender, in age group 40-60 years with minimum 10 years of diabetic history. Control Group- Non-diabetic healthy subjects in the age group 40-60 years with no history or features of Madhumeha, any autoimmune and metabolic disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects suffering with Autoimmune disorders. Subjects suffering with Tuberculosis, Cancer, Jaundice. Subjects suffering with Rajyakshma, Shosha, Grahani, Pandu. Subjects on medication for any infective disease. Subjects not willing to participate.
