Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with Acute Hypoxemic Respiratory failure, defined having more than 22 breaths per minute, P/F ratio less than 300.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute Respiratory failure secondary to Asthma. 2. COPD exacerbation. 3. Cardiogenic Pulmonary edema. 4. Patients on high vasopressor support. 5. GCS less than 12. 6. Arrhythmias. 7. Recent nasal bleed. 8. CSF Rhinorrhea. 9. Patients with do not intubate order.
