Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Sports person who participated in competitive sports at least district level or minimum 2 years of training and experience in track and field events. Both male and female sports person will be included in the study. Sports person within age group of 18-35 years will be included in study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Sports person who is not willing to participate in study. 2. Sports person who has been infected by COVID-19 within last four month. 3. Sports person who suffered from chronic disease that may exacerbate by strenuous physical activity like cardiovascular disease, respiratory conditions like COPD, Asthma, and Pneumonia etc. 4. Sports person who is claustrophobic. 5. Sports person who smokes and uses ergogenic aids. 6. Sports person who suffer from injury in last 3 months. 7. Sports person who had been infected by COVID-19 8. Sports person having COVID-19 symptoms during the week of study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame

Secondary

Blood Glucose will be measured using glucometer.Timepoint: Before warm up and after 10 min. warm up and 400 mt. run without face mask and different type of face mask on respective days.;Blood Pressure will be measured using Sphygmomanometer.Timepoint: Before warm up and after 10 min. warm up and 400 mt. run without face mask and different type of face mask on respective days.;Dyspnea will be measured using Modified Borg Dyspnea Scale.Timepoint: Before warm up and after 10 min. warm up and 400 mt. run without face mask and different type of face mask on respective days.;Hear Rate, Respiratory Rate, Blood Oxygen Saturation will be measured using Fingertip Pulse Oxymeter.Timepoint: Before warm up and after 10 min. warm up and 400 mt. run without face mask and different type of face mask.;Partial pressure of oxygen and carbon dioxide in blood will be measured using arterial blood sample through Arterial Blood Gas Analysis. Timepoint: After 10 min. warm up and 400 mt. run without face mask and different type of face mask on respective days.;Performance time will be measured in min. after 400 mts. Run. Timepoint: After 400 mt. run without face mask and different type of face mask on respective days.;Rate of Perceived exertion will be measured using Borg Scale for RPETimepoint: Before warm up and after 10 min. warm up and 400 mt. run without face mask and different type of face mask on respective days.
