Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients of age group of 6 to 50 years, irrespective of their gender, religion, occupation. 2) All patients having sign and symptoms of Gilayu (Chronic tonsillitis). Galashula (Pain), Shotha (Swelling), Sakashta Nirgalana (Dysphagia). 3) Congestion and Jugulodiagastric lymph node enlargement. 4) Those patients who having less than 5 episodes per year. 5) Patients without having any complications.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patient with complication of Tonsillitis like peritonsillar abscess, tonsillar cyst, parapharyngeal abscess etc. 2) Patient having enlarged Adenoids. 3) Malignancy, TB presenting as tonsillar disease, diabetes mellitus or hypertension. 4) Immuno-compromised patients.

Gala shula, Shotha, Sakashta Nirgalana will be decreased, subject will get relief from Gilayu.Timepoint: 18 MONTHS
