Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All type 2 diabetic patients aged between 40- 85 years on antidiabetic agents within the past six months of study initiation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Type 1 diabetes mellitus, pregnancy, lactation, any malignancies, HIV infection, and patients on immunosuppressants
