Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -Age 18 ââ?¬â?? 60 years -Either sex -ASA Status I & II -Surgery in supine position under GA for upto or greater than 1 hour
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -History of prior sore throat -Patient using steroids or NSAIDS -Patients with Chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, asthma -Mallampatti Grade greater than II -Patients with greater than 2 attempts of intubation -Pregnant patients -Upper respiratory tract infection -Patients allergic to study drug -Patients requiring Nasogastric tube, throat pack -Oral and nasal surgeries -Patients and his/her legally accepted representatives not willing to provide their voluntary written informed consent for participation in the study
