Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing general anaesthesia 2.ASA Grading I, II 3.Duration of surgery less than 150 minutes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.ASA 3 and above 2.Age 60 years 3.Contraindication to general anaesthesia 4.Patients with inadequate mouth opening , BMI >26kg/m2 • Anticipated difficult airway

MeasureTime frame
Hemodynamic responses include mean arterial pressure (MAP), SpO2 , electrocardiogram (heart rate [HR]), and ETCO2 . All these parameters were recorded before induction; after induction/before laryngoscopy; after laryngoscopy; during intubation/Baska mask insertion; at 1, 3, 5, 10, and 15 min after insertion of device, then every 10 min until the end of surgery; and even after removal of the airway devices.Timepoint: 2 hours

Parameters such as the presence of bloodstain on the cuff, incidence of bronchospasm, laryngospasm, regurgitation, and aspiration were noted. pharyngolaryngeal complications, consisting of a sore throat, coughing, and hoarseness of voice, were assessed at 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, and 24 h postoperativelyTimepoint: 24 hours
