Health Condition 1: O- Medical and Surgical
Conditions
Interventions
Intervention1: BASKA mask: The advantages of BASKA mask over tracheal intubation is that BASKA mask will have more ease of insertion, less time of insertion, less haemodynamic changes during insertion

Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Hemodynamic responses include mean arterial pressure (MAP), SpO2 , electrocardiogram (heart rate [HR]), and ETCO2 . All these parameters were recorded before induction; after induction/before laryngoscopy; after laryngoscopy; during intubation/Baska mask insertion; at 1, 3, 5, 10, and 15 min after insertion of device, then every 10 min until the end of surgery; and even after removal of the airway devices.Timepoint: 2 hours | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |

| Parameters such as the presence of bloodstain on the cuff, incidence of bronchospasm, laryngospasm, regurgitation, and aspiration were noted. pharyngolaryngeal complications, consisting of a sore throat, coughing, and hoarseness of voice, were assessed at 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, and 24 h postoperativelyTimepoint: 24 hours | — |
