Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of childhood depression aged between 8 to 18 years will be recruited from AIIMS psychiatric OPD.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Physically challenged and also who will not be able to complete the yoga programme will be excluded from the study

MeasureTime frame
To asses various parameters cortisol, inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress levels,telomere length after 30 days of yogaTimepoint: 4weeks of yoga after recruiting all the patients, further 8 weeks to analyze all the data to get the results or outcome

The effect of yoga on stress management in children with depression and on controlsTimepoint: 2 years and 6 months
