Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing clean surgeries in the department of surgery. 2.Surgeons in the department of surgery who are willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing emergency surgery. 2.Patients undergoing surgery under wound class II (clean-contaminated), III (contaminated) and IV (dirty/infected).

1.To provide the best practice of antibiotic use and developing guidelines could be a very useful approach for an antimicrobial stewardship program. 2.Tertiary care centers like ours can develop a model for Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs for other centers functioning under similar circumstance.Timepoint: 1.6 weeks 2.8 weeks
